Traveler prefers to return to his country on foot rather than leave his dogs
He preferred a thousand times to walk to his country than to leave his pets 👏
We have seen too many stories in which a person becomes so fond of an animal that he ends up doing some pretty crazy acts in order to show all the love he feels for them. But rarely will we see what a young man did to return to his hometown after meeting two puppies while traveling through Chile with his partner.
Lucas Giménez undertook a backpacking trip with his girlfriend Sol. A trip that in the end would be much more than that, since in addition to having spent a few fun days touring different places, he would also return with two new best friends. But before returning home he would have to overcome great obstacles to achieve his goal.
These two dogs, named Serena and Pilsen, crossed paths on Lucas and Sol’s trip, and nothing would ever be the same for any of them. Since the two puppies made the young man so attached that he did not want to leave them there, alone and abandoned. In the middle of the trip, crossing Abra Pampa, in the Argentine province of Jujuy, they were robbed and lost all their belongings. When they were left incommunicado, their relatives became concerned because they had not heard from either of them.
Sol’s father, not hearing from them, traveled to Jujuy to look for them and that’s how he found them, safe and sound. When they were about to return together with the dogs, the bus company did not accept Lucas traveling with the animals. But this young man would not give up. He was determined not to leave them abandoned there, so they decided that Sol would return home with her father.
Lucas decided to walk back with Pilsen and Serena. And so he did. Of course, the return home was not easy, there were many days and many kilometers that they had to cover. During some stretches Lucas and his two dogs walked on the side of the road, but there were also people with very good hearts who offered to take them several kilometers by car.
After several days, Lucas, Pilsen and Serena arrived in Mendoza. An amazing trip that will remain engraved in the hearts of the whole family. And it also shows that on the route he had to take, you can also meet caring people who helped them.
He shares this impressive story with his friends and family. There is no doubt that there are people who would do anything to be around their pets.
