Animal Rescue in Korea (ARME) has just rescued a dog suffering from gangrene of extremities – the victim of pubs in Korea.

Usually before butchering, people will hang the dogs upside down, then start pecking because they think that the dog meat will be softer and tastier. Kiki the dog was found hanging upside down, causing gangrene on all four legs. And in the end Kiki was dumped in a landfill in a plastic bag because “injured dogs are not safe to eat”. Expected to wait until death, Kiki was discovered by ARME and brought to the hospital.
Kiki’s legs were tied to the point of necrosis.

Just because he couldn’t eat, Kiki was mercilessly thrown into the landfill.
To save Kiki’s life, doctors were forced to amputate his limbs. The doctors shared that when they operated on Kiki, they couldn’t hold back their tears.
To save Kiki’s life, all four legs were removed.

After recovering, he began to walk again, rolling like newborn puppies. Although moving was difficult, Kiki never gave up trying.
After the surgery, Kiki recovered quickly.

Kiki started to get close, toying with humans again. Perhaps, it understands that not everyone is evil. Kiki is even ready to be petted by volunteers and veterinarians.
Kiki loves being petted by veterinarians.

Veterinarians and volunteers help Kiki gradually adjust to a normal life. Now, Kiki can move faster, even play picking balls.
Like many other dogs, Kiki loves to play with balls.
