Puppies Rescued From The Trash Get A Second Chance At Life
Security footage captured a man leaving a bucket at the dumpster. Inside were two tiny puppies, just three weeks old.
Puppies who were discarded at a dumpster like trash were given a second chance a life, thanks to kind staff at the Dog Rescue Shelter.
Security footage captured a man driving his car to the dumpster in front of the Dog Rescue Shelter of Mladenovac, Serbia. He got out, placed a bucket by the dumpster, and ran back to his car and drove away.
After hearing soft whimpering, a staff member at the rescue went out to investigate and discovered two tiny puppies near the bucket. The poor things had been taken from their mother and thrown away like garbage!
The rescue wrote, “Unfortunately, in Serbia people often abandon puppies.”
The rescue quickly took the puppies in, who were determined to be around three weeks old. They were too young to stay at the shelter, but a foster mom took them in and cared for them.
The little puppies had to be bottle-fed every three hours until they were bigger. The rescuers couldn’t give the puppies their mom back, but they could do everything in their power to give them a better life, and that’s exactly what they did.
Slowly but surely, the little pups began to grow into playful dogs ready for their forever homes.
After a few months, both dogs were placed up for adoption and found matches!
